Lil’Native Slippie almost here!

#1

Post by PStone »

With Sal’s recent mention of the Lil’Native Slippie being his carry the other day, I am starting an alert thread. I have been holding out on the LilNative specifically waiting for this version. So excited that it is getting closer. So although this thread is meant for in stock heads ups, it doesn’t have to be only those.

Who else is excited for this to hit shelves?

Was that bombshell about the Lil Native Slipjoint or was it a Native 5 with a slip joint?

I would assume he meant Lil Native because that has already been revealed but maybe it was a hint of something we'll see in the next reveal. :thinking

Dang! You’re absolutely right. Checked again. He did say just Native. I would still be super stoked if that were the case.

Another US made SLIPIT would be amazing! I hope it comes out of the box in SE Salt, my UKPK needs a break!

That’s exactly what I was wondering. The Lil Native slip it is not much of a bombshell, but a Native slip it is.

Well, we’re at the point now where actually seeing announced models showing up at dealers is kind of a bombshell.

I don’t say that to be rude or anything, it’s just how the world turns right now.
There’s way more important stuff also not showing up in stores atm, so knives running late doesn’t bother me at all.

Once again my excitement gets the better of me and I jumped the gun. Man I can’t wait for the Lil’Native Slippie.

But a regular sized Native slip? I’d love to see that. Just as much as the Lil. Would be killer if it carried over the 3/4 length split spring like the UKPK.

Sal has now confirmed it WAS the preproduction Lil Native slippie he was carrying! - not a Native slippie.

Yes, we were expecting it to be released at any time. Hope it is soon. Maybe it will make up for the Urban fiasco. I am really looking forward to it.

Does this use the same slipjoint mechanism as the UKPK? I'm curious about the Lil Native slipjoint, but man the UKPK is a favorite of mine with its obvious Calypso series DNA.

The Lil' Native Slipit doesn't have a half stop so it could possibly feel different?

Finally! The Lil' Native SlipIt was first shown at Blade Show in June 2017 with an ETA of First Quarter 2018!

Check out the video at the 4:30 time mark:
