To replace phone books, wich are impossible to find in France nowadays, I use school suppliers catalogs. I get like 6 or 7 of them each year, exact same thickness than phonebooks used to have.
I've found out that it needs a perfect edge tho because the paper used is just less homogenous through the page !

In my opinion, folks who buy Sprint Run or Custom Spyderco knives, for the sole purpose of selling them on EBAY at a ridiculous price, just to make a nice profit, are greedy jerks. Why would you want to do that to a fellow knife collector or enthusiast? If you’re like me, setting alarms & calendar reminders, posting the website link right to your home screen, and credit card in hand ready to purchase that specific Spyderco that you NEED or will die without then you know how it feels….. to see those 3 devastating words “out of stock”. Oh, but look!!!!!!! There are 7 on EBAY for 2-3 time the price.
Please stop making people like me cry. For really real…. It’s not cool.

We made it to Salem today after about 14 hours of driving. I feel naked without a full size knife on my hip (among other things missing).


Funny part, my wife carried her pink Native LW anyway. I guess I failed to mention the law issues lol.

Not many Spydies calling out my name right now - I think the Crucarta PM2 is the only one I'm really looking forward to right now.

Going to see how long I can hold out on K390 Se Police. I had a dream that I was carving a pumpkin with said K390 Police. It's going to happen, as much as it doesn't need to.

So I’m thinking about having a friend in France get a Janisong so I can get it from him next time I visit. I wish I could just have one shipped to the US! Anyone have experience with this model?

I ordered a Buck 113 to go with the 112. From Spyderco I am waiting for the Crucarta PM2 and the wharnie K390 DF2.

I'm trying to hold off on new knife purchases for a bit. I'm currently at my limit for my display stands. I stand there and look at them and try to think which one would be next to sell if I were to get something new. But, I'm very happy with all of my knives I have right now. I've put together a pretty good collection of knives that really suit me for work, as well as a few nice/fancy knives.

I'm going to try and keep things as they are, but maybe get some new scales for a few models if I'm feeling the itch for something "new"

What knife did you end up carrying? I feel the same way when carrying a knife with a sub 3" blade.

Just my keychain Ladybug Salt and a multitool which I think is probably illegal too but I refused to leave without it.

I don't have a shop in mind, but they're legal in Nevada.
