Saw this pop up in my inbox today.

Looks like a fantastic opportunity to practice your RIT Dye Recipes!
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Finally!

It's about time someone did a white handle...

I'm a strong no on the model it's on. But, I can't wait to see future releases.

I’m happy to see more Rex45, but I’m going to pass. Last Spyderco knife I bought from GP had problems and returning it for a refund would have cost me 15 or 20 percent.

I like this configuration with GP Knives. Maybe I’ll finally get a chance to own some REX45 that is not orange.

Ooooh...nice. Not a Para 3 or PM2 guy but might need to grab this one and give it another chance. I hope they do some Seki knives in white FRN! I'd for sure get a Native LW and Manix LW (hopefully screw construction by then) as well.

So we have the most stainable knife to date? This is going to be a hot item with just from the rex45. I see this one being a web crasher.

Paraguy not ParaLWguy...
I bought the knife joy 20cv exclusive for my friend and the two bottom screws fell out while he was weed eating and were lost in the grass. It's his first Spyderco and it kinda sucks that it had to be his first experience with an otherwise great company. The para 3 lw is kind of flimsy especially compared to the BM Bugout.

I'm definitely in for this release. I'll buy 2 if I get the opportunity.

Fun! Not a Para3 guy but glad to see REX45 again and hope to see some more white knives... with a natural patina and some dirt it would remind me of my yard duty Cruwear Manix I regret selling. Maybe we can see this config on the Sage5 LW?

Man, that sucks for your friend! I've never had a problem like that with mine, and I definitely don't feel like it's flimsy (especially compared to the Bugout). To each their own!

It does get kind of humorous! Spyderco makes something for everyone, or it seems they try to. One person praises them because they make LW versions of popular models and the next person puts them down because they feel like kids toys. With the Para 3 LW (also Native 5 LW & Manix 2 LW) I can understand why they're not for everyone. Same with the Bugouts. First time I handled one was at the Benchmade booth at the NRA convention in Dallas. It did feel flimsy to me and I decided I wasn't interested. Then they came out with the Mini Bugout and I bought one. It's still a little flimsy in the middle of the handle but it doesn't seem as bad to me. Maybe because the handle's not as long. It's about the weight of the FRN Dragonfly which is nothing. So I really like it but it's another model that's not for everyone

The blade looks great...can't say much for the rest of it...except cheap, flimsy FRN. :disappointed

Ah I see, I assumed you had enough love to go around for all the Paras. I cannot disagree with your assessment of the P3 LW, they are a bit.... squishy.
