PM2 Tanto Copper scale swap

Here is my PM2 Tanto blade with the liner-less copper scales. I braided the lanyard incorporating a Japanese coin. This is one heavy knife coming in at 8 ounces. I call it Kaiju.

I like how it looks and the incorporation of the Japanese coin in the lanyard is a cool touch. It will look great as you use it and develop a patina on the handle.

Definitely too heavy for me to carry often, though it would be great with heavy winter clothing. Especially with a patina...full-grain leather boots, heavy denim, flannel, chore coat, that's 10+ lbs of clothing, what's an extra ~4oz?

I'm sold.

This piece is entirely a collection piece vs one For practical use. I carry it sparingly. The lanyard also helps with retrieval because I removed the pocket clip so it would develop an even patina on the copper.
