This thread has offered up a challenge to me. And I think I'll carry one of my old C-44 Dyad models for a few days. The C-44 Dyad is the biggest of the Dyad models that Spyderco made over the years. For all you newcomers the older C-44 Dyad Spyderco model is their premier double bladed, all purpose folder. It has one PE and one SE blade and is so handy for so many different cutting jobs.

Normally I carry one PE folder and one full SE folder daily. But with the C-44 Dyad I won't have to do that for a while.

I'm hoping that Spyderco does have more double-bladed models in it's future plans.

A number of months back, Sal was working on designing a Dyad with dual compression locks. I'm sure a number of you guys have your own ideas as do I, but he hasn't asked for opinions, so I wonder how it's going.

I sent my Superblue dragonfly, chaparral 2, and techno 1 to Big Chris in 2016 I think.

It was between $50-75 per blade if i remember right

I saw this title, and thought, well, Civilian, but then decided to check, and was pleasantly surprised to see that my two Civilians, one of which I have had for a VERY long time, are the current version. So, I will carry a Bram Frank Gunting, for the rest of the day, today. It has been a while since I EDC’ed a Gunting, but I have considered resuming regular carry, as the handle is a so very wonderful fit, in my hand. The Gunting is best carried in a belt sheath.

Definitely a VERY robust blade in a compact package. A bit more belly and a much higher tip than I normally prefer in actual use, but I love how this knife looks! :)
