I wanted to participate so I went out to the car over lunch and swapped the native out.

Does it count for "Throwback Thursday", if you carry it most days out of the week? :thinking

What if they're all technically throwbacks? Like the non cqi millie, S35VN native LW, and the original H1 spyderhawk?

Awesome posts everyone!

GB1 today. I like that the GB2 is different enough to not be a flat out replacement for the GB1. Very similar knives, yet very different at the same time.

My throwback choices for today are an original, no hole Swick and a Superblue Caly 3.

I’ve also been playing with a 2012 vintage 3D printer at work, so that’s a bit of a throwback too.

Does it count if it's your regular EDC anyway?

WoW! Slab sided "Police Model". Is that hollow ground or Saber ground?
My 1988 is fully bevelled. Scales thumb hole, everything.

That one is flat saber grind. In spite of what the Wiki says, they didn't start the hollow saber grind until the second generation like yours.

Yay, wiki says 91. I know mine was September 1988.
I bought a RAW aluminum in 1991. Though it was slab sided like a 1986.

LOL! :grin-smiling-eyes Surprisingly, there is actually some really good striped bass fishing in Boston Harbor! There are world class fish that migrate through the harbor every year. This was just a local lake where I was tahgeting laahge mouth bass. ;)

I was also carrying a SE Salt 1 that could have been appropriate for this thread but it was clipped to my tackle bag and not pictured.

I'd like to see that. My earliest aluminum is second generation, with bevelled scales and the lock release moved back even though it pre-dates steel marking.
