As I’ve said elsewhere, I’m normally promiscuous about what Spydie I carry. But I can’t seem to quit this one. It really is a different experience.

IMG_1267.jpgNear mint D1 Delica I found in my attic while putting up Christmas decor this year. Thank you Santa.
Super late to the party but dang, love that knife. Gen 1 Delica was my EDC for 25ish years. Never sharpened, dull as ****, but those teeth got the job done. Recently decided to retire it as I can't bring myself to send it in for a sharpening.

Ye Auld 80mm Lockback Manix. Remember these?

I nominate its lock-up for the loudest KA-CHUNK of any Spyderco I own...could wake the dead.
I do not only remember those i use one as an edc… :star-struck
But my loudest ka-chunk is from my full sized manix :tonque-out
So glad that i have multiple of both sizes they do not make them like that anymore. :beaming-face
I think they are to scared to try and make that again… :purple-devil (And no the LW lockback manix 2 does not count i wish they called that one a lamix or a monix or something like that because without the liners it isnt worthy of the legacy :zany )

LOL. I'm sure that Spyderco does not want to be accused of actually waking the dead with the booming lockup of the Manix lockback!

I have the same one. I wish spyderco would bring it back. But for some reason they always make the leafblade variant. I know its more friendly and perhaps better for edc tasks. But there are leafshapes enough in the line. Just give us the Rhino back!

I suspect this model will never find the demand needed for its return. I consider myself fortunate to have mine.
