I would guess that even though it will probably take a while, I would expect the Magnacut to become the 'standard high end steel' in many Spyderco models. It would be the right update for all the S30V/S35VN/S45VN/etc. (seen from the user perspective, I don't know the relevant technical details that may well be the deciding factor)

the guy in the destruction test video said it cost him about $50 for a foot of Magnacut. Really makes the $75 Spyderco Magnacut Mule look like a great deal.

Yeah, plus who knows how much on belts to grind it and the furnace to heat treat it. The mule is a friggin bargain.
