How is the top one in the first pic? Do you ever actually carry or use it, like a Sunday EDC or something? It's on my grail list just based on how awesome it looks, I'm not a giant bolster fan, or CF fan, or Damascus fan, but for some reason that model just looks amazing to me...

It is nice. It has a good amount of side to side play but it is also a factory second. I paid $40 for it! The scales are contoured which is a nice touch. I have only carried it on special occasions like weddings and funerals. I carried it at my own wedding. I have always hoped they would do a Caly3.5 in that configuration.

I truly hope the c54 does return soon. Whenever I look through old threads about really any of the calys so many members chime in positively about it and it gets very solid feedback. Leads me to believe spyderco really wouldn’t have a hard time selling this model, especially in a new sprint run.

IIRC the brown G10 sprint was available for quite some time, so long that vendors were offering fairly hefty discounts on them, so I’m not sure Spyderco’s sales records for this model speaks very well to them running another version anytime soon. Not that I don’t love the model but I’m guessing a few other model choices will take precedence for some time to come (in terms of new sprint ideas).

I think they would sell the just fine if it was G10 and Cruwear. I would pay the premium price for this combo. Plain or laminated ZDP-189 would get my money as well.

I really like the g10 but it would be a dream come true if the polished black linen micarta came back for another run.
