Salt Series and washers

#1

Post by TSINGA »

Do any of the salt series knives have washers, or have they all been removed to improve the rust resistance of the knives? I'm looking for something larger than my Dragonfly2 Salt to take fishing in salt water and don't care if it is H1 or LC200N steel.

SpydieChef. Caribbean has liners so I suspect it may have washers.

I've never taken my Siren apart to actually verify that it doesn't have washers, but it sure is smooth.

No washers in the new green LC200 Salt 2 or Pacific Salt 2. No negatives in my two so far, solid lockups and no blade play at all.

I own salts that have them and salts that don't - they've all done their job well.
