If I didnt have the teal S90V version, this would be a keeper.

Well I forgot about it. Just happened to check email, saw the announcement, and sold out. Oh well. I need a new canoe paddle more than another knife at the moment ;)

Para3 LW's don't move like their G10 counterparts, let alone the PM2 or Shaman models, add to that a colour that won't be popular with more than a few and I think this one will take a few hours or even days to completely sell out...

Wierd! I ordered one during the drop, and when I checked a few minutes later it said sold out. Wonder what happened.

Big handle, small blade. Great steel, but...not for me.

Interesting color, I actually like it a lot but with the Colorado PM2 Sprint dropping on the same day, my decision on this one is made fairly easily.

While I do like this mint green color, I can't help but feel like GITD would have been a better match/counterpart to their Jade G10 exclusives.

Welcome to spyderco?? I feel like having a generous handle for the relative amount of blade is just a part of the spyderco design philosophy, since they almost all include generous finger choils or ricassos.

Based on post count, I think I should be welcoming you! No, not all Spydercos have outsized handles relative to blade. I posted efficiency scores some time ago. Caly, Stretch, Chap, Native Chief, Pac Salt all have efficient blade/handle ratios. Some of the "big handle" blades are Centofante, Delica 4, Para 3.

Hey, nothing against those of you who like a big handle and small blade. I personally like more blade for my handle.

I prefer the PM2, but the PM3 is perfect for when I travel to states that have the less then 3in law, the handle on the pm3 is about as small as I would use.. heck I'm still kind of hoping someone makes something with the pm2 scale size and less then 2in blade for CA trips lol

The 2 inch law is only for autos. California has no restrictions on blade length for manual folders. You could carry your regular PM2. I carry my shaman all the time in California.

Doesn't that vary by locality?

Why is CPM-M4 hyphenated? Usually don’t see that in Crucible/CPM alloys outside of M4.
