I'm still anxious to know if Spyderco ever plans on checking into the possibility of newer serration patterns. The patented Spyderedge has been here for quite a while now with good reports. I would like to see what other types of serration patterns would be capable of.
I have serrated blades ( mostly culinary) of about 4 other companies that I deem to be really efficient patterns and cut well. In a way I feel like Spyderco has only shown us the "tip of the iceberg" so to speak with what they are capable of producing.
I really like the serration patterns on my Spyderco kitchen knives K-04 & K-05 respectively. Those serrations are of a lower profile and have a more rounded type of pattern. I would like to see more of those or something new that is like those on the kitchen models.
