Bought my first spyderco at the online seconds sale last year. I'm 15 or so in now and its kind of an obsession. Lucky enough to pick this one up today. As usual pictures do not do it justice.

Received this morning 23 hours after I ordered! Knoxville to Nashville. Gotta love Fedex. Boxed and bubble wrapped with 4 stickers. Beautiful PM2.

Looks good! I imagine the scales are fairly smooth. Should be easy on the pockets while still having enough traction.

That first image with the sunlight subtly reflecting on the DLC and scales is very nice. Thanks for sharing and congrats on getting one!

Oh, and it doesn't stop at 15 or 30 lol.

Thanks for the welcoming. I have been lurking around for a while. To answer your question though, the scales are a smooth finish and feel really good.

I like it, more than I thought I would, but nowhere near enough to actually buy one. Native 5 in this configuration would have me reaching for the wallet.

I was on the fence on this one, but I'm glad I got it. The scales look so much better in person.

I was fortunate enough to snag one in the brief time they were available. Pictures don't do them justice...the light interacts with the scales depending on angle. Amazing quality...way to go Spyderco!

This is my 2nd P2 (and 6th spydie overall). First one was a "standard" camo G10/satin blade combo. Didn't like the feel of it, so traded it a while back. This one rocks!

Got mine today. Maybe already mentioned somewhere already. But a satin version is coming.

I agree with the above. Photos don’t do this justice. Almost shimmering. Here’s an attempt to show in direct sunlight.
