To be fair, DLT's Cru-Wear Purple PM2 drop was almost as bad as this one last year
It happens with almost every exclusive drop, I'm always surprised when we get 3-5 pages of complaints on the threads every time after the drop. This isn't anything new.

Man if you guys thought this was bad.... Should of been there when the M4 Tanto PM2s dropped. Literally, website frozen with 10 tabs up, refreshing like a mad man, got to the check out over a dozen times, it FINALLY went through and I was in disbelief.
I've seen Strider drops sell in under one minute. SMKW did their best and I had ample opportunity to score I just chose not to.
This was their first one, so I'll cut them some slack. Not the disaster that REC always is but not smooth either. I've stopped with WIFI for these. Hardwired the only way to go IMO.

Actually, I was there for both the initial release of the Blade HQ's PM2 Tanto S30V release and their second release of it with the Jade G-10 M4.
It was pretty hectic trying to complete my transaction after getting those Tanto into my shopping cart. But at least I knew what I was getting into.
Perhaps, for future references, SMKW should use this as a learning experience for their next exclusive release.

My Bark River CruWear Mountaineer II pre-order I made back in March arrived yesterday evening; what an awesome small traditional fixed blade. Also scored a mule, a Caly 3 ZDP, two Endura Hap40, and a G10 Calypso so far this month - which had me financially out of the running for this PM2. Guess it has worked out OK because I don't ever succeed on the computer with short sell-out times.
I'm leaning toward letting my PM2's go given the difficulty to collect them - that is, if I can find another knife that hangs around longer and is consistently offered in a variety of steels and colors.
Those of you who got them, please post lots of pics. I'm curious to see how vibrant or flat the color is.

No shipping notice yet for me. I am going to guess a $100 mark up on the secondary market with the cost climbing over time. Wonder how big this batch was? Seems like it was 750-1000.
