Thanks, one satin on the way. And this is me slowing down...

I hope I'll manage to sell a few before these hit the European dealers. The knife budget is already stretched and I'll be hard pressed to put these on hold for very long.

As always, Beau, great appreciation for your dedication and diligence.

I got an order in for satin at mrknifeguy... a new dealer for me. I woulda used CS or KW, if i hadn't missed out on those while busy working today.

Maybe a dumb question, but I’m about to order one and my only question is, is this a full tang under that FRN, or just a little rat tail?

Probably inconsequential on a knife this small, but just curious since it’s hidden and I can’t find anything specific in any literature.

You’re right the literature and website don’t say what kind of Tang whether Full, Skeletonized or Partial (like Rat Tail).

My guess is Skeletonized like some past fixed blades and all Mule Teams.

Wow!
Thanks for the pics. The comparison with DF2 really put things into perspective.
Smaller than I expected, but that’s fine. Definitively want one!

Thanks for the comparison shots! I’m going to reconsider this purchase for now I believe. I knew it was small, but seeing it next to the dragonfly…I don’t know…

Thank you! I think I’m out for now. I have large hands and my Izula and Giant Mouse GMF-1 are as small as I think I can go. Going to stick with my Ronin 2 for now. Going to start to carrying it again next week to see if I can fall back in love with it.

That's my next planned purchase. Got a surprise knife budget bump to let me grab what I grabbed today.

Having just unboxed and handled mine, I am impressed. Blade grind and satin finish are great and the sharpening job is excellent from the factory. It looks very small to the eye but feels nice in hand. almost a 3-finger grip for me. The subtle swell of the handle adds extra purchase. I will use a lanyard as the guide suggests for extra grip. Some black paracord comes in the box for this. Drawing from the sheath is easy with a little thumb pressure, and once drawn the knife is already in a natural position with no adjustment needed. It is perfectly balanced at the finger choil- there is clearly plenty of steel in the handle to achieve this.
