Yeah, good on them for coming right out with that instead of playing to the FOMO / panic buying base instincts.

The knife itself is obviously expensive, but given the price of the normal Shaman, the markup for the steel upgrade, dyes and paint seems very minimal. I think this would probably be the Shaman I'd get if I was going to get one, and if they actually stay in stock long enough for me to order.

I hope so as well, this run will sell out in <5 minutes guaranteed. It will be interesting to see how long it takes for another run to appear.... It's not even that awesome looking, but it is unique/unusual for a Spyderco Shaman, I think if they would have made all the hardware (including the clip) the same colour as the blade instead of black it would look way cooler... but that's just my 2c :p :D

They said the same with their exclusive PM2 (more to come), it's been almost a year since the release and the second batch is still to be released. So I'm guessing an even longer wait for the next batch of this Shaman.

Yeah, it seemed like it was a long time to me, I didn't realize it had been that long.... I'm guessing re-runs might be lower on the priority list for our already overworked Spydie folks, I'm glad they are expanding Golden to meet the rising demand.

These are pretty nice, the PVD coating almost has a dull shine to it rather than being completely matte.
