Mine arrived today
Great job Spyderco and DLT
Still waiting on mine. Expected it to be here today but tracking hasn't updated since I got the shipped notice on Tuesday.
Same here. I emailed DLT, who in turn reached out to their local Postmaster. Apparently tracking will not be updated until it arrives at destination post office.
That's how mine tracked. Showed waiting for acceptance for several days then was shown in my local post office with a delivery date

DLT also offer this one:
https://www.dlttrading.com/spyderco-dra ... 20cv-blade

I ordered both. :D

ASF :spyder:
Nice, but I've tried for years and I just can't get behind the Zome handles. I've been on the brink of purchasing one but couldn't, haha. But, it'd be a great candidate for a scale swap with the 20cv. :D
I agree, I really want a 20cv Dragonfly/Delica, and I'm really a function over form guy, but that Zome pattern is just soooo painfully ugly. It looks like the greasy fingerprints you get on tools while working on an old car to me... except they can't be washed/wiped off.

If they offered a 20cv blade with those OD scales (Dragonfly or Delica.. or Endela) I'd probably break my finger smashing the buy button. Of course in that case you'd have to act fast because I'm sure they wouldn't hang around for months like the Zome models did.

On more than one occasion a knife, and other packages that were shipped first class have arrived without shipping ever being updated. It has been this way since the beginning of COVID for me. I am waiting on my D-fly to arrive too. It’s great to hear all of the positive reports though.

This is what happened when I bought the Zome 20CV version. No updates but 3 days after I ordered it was in my mailbox. Hoping it turns up tomorrow.

Got mine yesterday, seeing some use today. First Dragonfly. Not sure if it will end up kicking the Chaparral out of my pocket but I’m a fan so far

I wrestle with that same question and here's how I resolved it. When I can only carry one knife, I carry the Chaparral.

Usually I carry two, a DF2 and some larger knife. The DF2 gets used about 90% of the time in those situations.

Nice looking DF2 to start off with!

Well fine... They made me do it! The stinkin' knife was still available, and still calling my name (and, if I'm honest, still in my cart). And then to top it off, I had rewards points that I could redeem to knock $12 off. So fine, DLT: take my money!

DF2 #3 on its way... :D

Do it, you might regret it later, haha. IMO it's a steal at that price for that steel, colors and exclusive. The Dragonfly punches way above its weight class anyway. It's a stellar Spyderco.

Heck, I'm about to order a second one for backup and my first one hasn't even arrived from DLT yet but ordered Friday night.

yeah. i have a df2 salt. i like the df2, but it's not my favorite model. i like this color way a lot and i've not tried cruwear yet though. it's tempting, but i don't want the other models i'm waiting for to come out and i have to miss out on them because i bought this one. i can't believe they're still in stock.

Wow - I must've gotten one of the last ones... possibly _the_ last one. Close call!

Good for you, this is a really nice knife. I think this one has the keenest edge on any factory knife I've received.

Personally, I'm glad it sold out so that I am no longer tempted to buy a second one.

Mine came sharp but with a rather 'toothy' edge. This is my first Cru-Wear blade and I was impressed with how easy it was to smooth and refine that edge. I started on a DMT Extra Fine, progressed to a Golden Stone, and finished on a strop with green compound. Have to see how that edge holds up. I now have DF2s in VG10, H1, ZDP 189, K390 and Cru-Wear. Make that two in K390 cuz I'm not going to be able to resist the K390 Warnie when it drops.

How does Cru-Wear compare to ZDP-189 as far as corrosion resistance?
