That is a thing if beauty!
This model needs an Exclusive run. I'd love to see it in K390, but I'd get it in any configuration.

Hope you like it! Great on it's own, or as a second knife. Let us know what you think of it.

Harpy EDC checking in; challenge accepted!
For it's size range the old Harpy is really hard to beat. Although the Merlin and the TASMAN are quite nice as well.

For me personally I can't really go any smaller than the Harpy model. I prefer something as big as the Spyderhawk for most serious jobs.

I think we need a hawkbill Manix 2. Great lock needs a great blade in PE CTS204P!

while i think that would be cool, people already complain about the manix being a pocket hog and making it a hawkbill would make it even wider. maybe a reverse s shape would work without adding much bulk though.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

I find that impossible. There is no such thing as a pocket hog. Nothing goes in the knife pocket but the knife.

Since I prefer large hawkbills like the Superhawk and Spyderhawk, a Manixhawk would be no bigger.

the manix doesn't bother me in pocket at all either and i even carry my phone in the same pocket. in fact, it's my favorite knife in pocket because of the way it narrows at the clip. i wish more spyderco designs had a similar design.

I would totally carry a manix hawk. 3 things that don't get nearly enough love. Manix, CBBL, and hawkbill.

Well I'm 10 days in on the Hawkbill Challenge. Still edc'ing the Tasman. Maybe be strange, but I prefer heavier knives. The lightweight are ver lightweight. The tasman has a working edge for days, almost indefinitely. But to keep that 'razor sharpness, I need to strop it or hit the ultrafine stone every 2-3 days.

Have not felt limited at all by the hawkbill shape. In fact I think it is a more useful bladeshape for edc than leaf blades.

I also found this to be true. In my useage, hawkbills and wharncliffes handle normal edc cutting better than blades with belly. These blade shapes really aid in holding onto the material until it's cut without letting it slide off the blade. All of that negative angle and negative tip placement make cutting feel so much more natural and comfortable in most situations.
