There is I guess! :)

But tbh: I´d like to se a fully SE S35VN Tenacious even more than a fully SE Resilience.. I do like longer blades, but the Tenacious gives me an Endura length cutting edge already in such a compact package. And I do like a not-too-long carry too..
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I don't have a crystal ball, but if the next S35VN Chinese knife to come down the pike is the Astute, it just might out sell the S35VN Tenacious and Resilience combined. I generally prefer larger knives, but this would prove irresistible to me. :p

Just ordered a Tenacious from Edgeworks. As a rule, I never buy Chinese knives and this will be my first. I like and trust Spyderco as a company, so we’ll see how this goes.

the "coming soon" banner on the spyderco site for the new resilience models changed from green to red. does that change have a meaning, or do i need to get a life?

Still shows green for me. Really looking forward to these to drop. If there is a reason for any delay I hope it's because they've found a way for full serrations.

They also added an "option tick box" to the s35vn Tenacious listing a couple days ago. :)
I see them change stuff around, but then it stays like that for a while, so i don't necessarily think it's a good indicator that something is dropping. The black wharnie Manbug disappeared completely for a month or two and then came back up but, it didn't release for another month or two.
But then again... Maybe what you want to happen is getting ready to happen? Maybe we both need to get a life? :p

I don't have the Tenacious LW with S35VN but I do have 4 knives from China with it. It seems to be every bit as good as my Golden & Taichung made Spydercos with S35VN. I'm seriously considering getting one of the S35VN Tenacious LWs

No Civvis yet. 2-Massdrop/Ferrum Forge Gents, 1-Massdrop/Ray Laconico Keen, 1-Kizer/Ray Laconico Yorkie. I think I'm forgetting one too

Well, still available here in PE (USA and Europe): https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.ph ... 6#p1537242

Get one, folks!! It´s great, and in S35VN is among my top 3 EDC folders...

The Tenacious at GandR is the first S35vn Tenacious combo edge I've seen for sale in the US. Has the combo edge been available in Europe?

Yes, it has!
I got my PE from Lamnia (European online store) and they also had it in CE.
Perhaps I should have gone with the comboedge, since I love serrations, but I am still hoping for a fully serrated S35VN Tenacious to accompany my PE.

it'll probably be a little while before we see it. check out ramzar's thread on upcoming models for 2021. it's a great place to see how new models and exclusives are rolling out.

Are the scales interchangeable between the old 8Cr G10 model and the new S35vn FRN model?

The various views that Warnstein posted indicate it is possible - blade pivot and scale screws location appear to be identical but didn't know if there were internal differences between the two models.
