I recently stumbled upon an on-line knife

dealer called asian knife express ; after

browsing awhile I found that they dealt with

Master knives. To my horror, under "Masters

folders" there was a model called the

"Negotiator" which was touted as being a

"clone" of the Bob Terzoula knife, with Spyderco mentioned yet ! the only difference

being no thumb hole. Get online and visit

the site at asianknifeexpress.com , then look

in the general catalog under Master knives

for the "Negotiator". Unabashed plaigerism,

I say.

Hi Allen. Thanx for the input.

Masters Knives used to be Double 8. Before that 7 & 7. They had a name before 7 & 7, but I don't remember. They have been and are responsible for many of the copies that come to the USA. That was been their forte.

The Terzuola copy was actually made when they were still Double 8.

They have a new Sales/Marketing Manager as of a year & half ago or so. He goes by AJ.

I spent several hours speaking with him at the NewYork Knife Show. He said he had plans to change the company into a more honorable company. using Collaborators and paying royalties. We'll see what they do?
