Love the way they do it as well, staying out of the politics and giving directly to charities. Especially since this isn’t the first time they’ve done such.

Just happy to see them do their part. Keep it up.
Lightly insane.

This is pretty awesome. I was going to get the K390 Endela, but I think I will get the blue line Endela instead.

Been wanting a K390 Endela as well but this makes a lot of sense to me. Thinking the thin Red Line version as this hits so close to home.

Maybe I should get the Thin Red Line since I used to be a Medic and EMT.

Navy line in lc200N. Blue zome handle? Backspacer colour your call, dark blue would work for me, or maybe lc200n would be cool!

I will buy the first one!

Sal, is there hope for a thin blue/red line fully serrated Endura?
- I´d take two (blue and red) immediately! :)

For those who don’t know…
https://www.thinwhitelineusa.com/
The white line is for EMS. EMTs and Medics and all front line Emergency Services call under this distinction. As a Firefighter, we are both fire and EMS. Police have to have medical training as well and some are EMT level. The majority of Firefighters in California are EMTs and Medics. It usually goes into two categories of ALS and BLS (Advanced Life Support, Medic and Basic Life Support EMT although some EMTs do ALS procedures). On most of the medical aids calls we get we get an ambulance dispatched as well with an EMT and a Medic and we run at least one medic and the rest EMT on our rigs. Wildland firefighters in California are mostly EMT level as well. A White Line of knives would be a good morale booster for EMS personnel I think. They are not supposed to be “armed” but obviously they use trauma shears and a lot like myself carry the Raptor folding trauma shears that have other EMS and rescue tools on it. A lot of EMTs do carry a pocket knife but I am unsure about their protocols on that and that may vary from department and local jurisdictions.

A knife with a blunt tip cutting hook would make a good white line knife.

Something like this, but maybe a Delica or Endura.

Funny thing…
once I used my axe. (Yes, my axe was sharp and surprised the others) The other FF asked me to get something to cut the belt and I said “I got this”. I pulled my axe off my waist and voila! His eyes got big seeing me dispatch the belt with ease. If I have a knife, I want to use that or trauma shears. I see a ready to go sharp blade quickly takes care of a seatbelt. Those notches can work but can bind up the belt especially if not sharp. Every tool is different and in various levels of sharpness, so your mileage may vary. I do have a design for the seat belt cutter that Sal could use if he wants on a knife.

I’d much rather use a sheep’s foot SE blade for a seatbelt or even clothes. I can’t stand trauma sheers once they get a wee but dull...too many instances making an initial cut with them and then tearing the clothes off because they don’t wanna cut.

I’ve had hooks bind up on me too, I really prefer simple and sharp serrations.

As a medic and EMT I always carried a sharp knife and I am still never without one, unless going through the Marxists at the airport. I have never heard of a Thin White Line, but hey, I am all for anything that honors what we do/did. A lot of people are alive because of us.

Most trauma shears are garbage and disposable which makes the Raptor so popular. Heavy duty. I like the sheep’s foot style knives for this exact reason.

You should be proud. The White line is not as well known as the others. EMTs and Medics tend to be so poorly paid that a lot become Firefighters to still do what their calling was.
