Fully Serrated Resilience!

#1

Post by vivi »

In the latest reveal not only is the Resilience coming fully serrated, but there will be satin 8Cr, black 8Cr and S35VN variants!

Who else is excited for this release?

i know there's always a back and forth about se vs pe, but i'm really glad we're starting to see a se resurgence.

Does anyone know off hand, do blade swaps work between the G10 & LW versions of the Tenacious?

Is it just me or is this the "Serrated Reveal" -- I mean seriously, I love it, a couple years ago this would have been all but inconceivable. amiright? ;)

The two SE models I've wanted most for a long time in one release, I'm practically giggling with glee. Yeah, I said it.

I'm excited for this and the Police. I've owned the Tenacious but have yet to own a Resilience, and I've been eager to try SE K390!

Any clue about price $$ or $$$ on the spydie edge S35vn resilience?
My dealer will only carry the Se 8cr model

Great that also the S35VN version comes in full SE!!! :)

But: Now I understand even less why the S35VN Tenacious does not... :(
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

I think the chances of that happening someday just went up. Hopefully you'll get one in the next reveal!

It does feel more like a SE Revival than a reveal. Best reveal so far for me :D

Wow! Awesome Reveal!
The Resilience has finally got a SE, and a premium steel with SE. Does the current Military even have that? At least the Police does. Great Reveal!

Nope! Been looking for a CE or SE DLC Military without luck.

As the longest bladed folder in its series, the Resilience makes the most sense to offer in SE.

I had a feeling that a lot of my longblade loving, SE-preaching forum friends here would have a field day with the latest reveal heh heh.

Compare that to the meh and disappointed reactions from the reddit and Facebook crowd lol.

Personally I'm happy that the Resilience is getting the s35vn treatment.

With Larrin's latest results closely comparing s35vn and Spy27, I think it makes perfect sense why these releases also have the blue handles (coincidence or not?)

We're on reveal #8 and it's the first one with some significant SE additions. You know how many times I've felt let down? 7 times prior to this so people can suck it up like I did every time another recycled titanium frame lock got pushed out. It's been a LONG time coming if you ask me.

It's bound to happen soon, maybe when the compression lock Military comes out.

My Resilience and ClipiTool Have had alot of carry time this past month, trying to give detent based locking systems another chance. I really appreciate the simplicity, but I miss the bias to closed position with back locks.
