Is it safe to assume the SFO will have these before any dealers get them? Just trying to decide where I should focus my stalking the hardest 🥷

I still haven't cracked the code on whether or not spyderco.com will put out a knife before the other dealers.

Thin Line series... The first bunch showed up at dealers but then the most recent few were at Spyderco.com first
K390 Stretch... Showed up at a lot of dealers first
Those are fairly recent. Soo, They might have it available first. Maybe.
The upcoming K390's and the Swicks are what I've been watching for most. The K390 Police SE is at the top of my current "wants" list.

I can't say you chose wrong either, I just really want to try SE K390 and I want as much edge length as I can get to do so. Honestly I'm kinda just bored with all my knives at the moment so I need something new to play with.

I received my periodic, “...your order is still in process” email from the dealer that has 2 on pre-order for me. I called the dealer to see if they might have an ETA. The lady I spoke to said she hasn’t heard anything from Spyderco yet.

That’s ok. It was worth a phone call.

Bumping this thread... I'm getting conflicting information... KnifeWorks shows an Add To Cart button but the lady on the phone says they don't actually have any. Who to believe?

I just spoke with someone at Knifeworks. The knives arrived this morning! I know it isn’t a guarantee to get the first batch but I placed a pre-order for two of them with another dealer back in May. After calling the dealer this morning and hearing that they still have no ETA, I canceled the order and placed an order for two with Knifeworks. I was told they will start shipping them today. Thanks for the info! I’m really excited about this one.
