i wish the Lobster well. I have a Para 3 from the series, and am really looking forward to when they decide to release an Ikuchi (or, dare I dream, a Chaparral) in this M4/Jade combo.
Good choices. Hoping for a M4/Jade G10 Street Beat myself.

OOS... I guess the demand was greater than I expected, or this was a rather small batch. Congrats to all who got one of these! Looking forward to the next disco'ed model to be treated the BHQ exclusive style.

Other than the liner lock this is exactly THE knife I would love to have!!!

If it was a backlock or a compression lock (backlock preferred) I would be all over it. I don't have much M4 and I would like more, sheepsfoot is a favorite ... the Jade G10 doesn't work me one way or the other so I'm ok with it ... heck, if it was a backlock I would even take one in black G10 and S30V!!!

I was so busy at work Friday I forgot all about this and I am now a day and a half late to the party. How quickly did this one go?? Seems like the forums dump on the dealer exclusives more and more ... but they still sell lightning quick! I guess no one is listening. Remember the Slysz Bowie?

It sold out in about 12 hours. I picked one up after work with a few hours to spare.

Took something like 6 hours to sell out, so fast for a Seki model exclusive/sprint.

(Still upset at the Cutlery Shoppe Shaman that sold out in less than 30 seconds).

I don't think BladeHQ releases those numbers.

Mine arrived today, and it really is a cool, very interesting piece. I definitely see why people modded the scales, though...as is the ergos really don't work for me. My first three fingers either have to be crammed into the cutout, or if I grip more naturally then my ring finger hits the corner. I think I'd really love this knife with a mod to "skinny" the scales like David did. I love the blade shape and feel otherwise.

This is an odd one. I never hear anybody talk about their Rock Lobster?

It was an odd model that didn't seem to get much attention until it started getting modded, then it turns into a whole different beast.

So David did you do this mod yourself?

Received mine today as well. Completely agree on the handle ergos. I also found the G10 to be too aggressive for my liking so i took it down a bit and polished. Who can mod the scales on this thing?

Thanks for mentioning this post in the other thread. Looking at these photos I think the RL would work well for my hand size. Gonna have to keep an eye out for one.
