Roadie for certain! I love that little knife. It is my favorite tiny knife.

Re: Which Itty Bitty?
Well, technically it looks like the Roadie is above the maximum blade length set in the OP, but I never realized how small it actually is until I went and found a comparison pic with a Ladybug. Might have to pick one up at some point to give it a spin.

Re: Which Itty Bitty?
I've had an H1 LB HB in my pocket virtually every day for years now. Still, if I could only have one, I think it would be the K390 variant. I have the ZDP and I love it, as well.
Tough choice.

Re: Which Itty Bitty?
My experience with itty-bitty Spydies is very limited. For whatever it's worth, I have a Manbug with a VG-10 Wharncliffe blade, and I like it.
Regular carrier: zome green Delica 4
Occasional/situational carrier: Dragonfly 2 with Wharncliffe blade
Display only: Manbug with Wharncliffe blade, Dragonfly 2 with Wharncliffe blade, zome green Delica 4

I mean, I wish I had an lc200n jester. But my k390 laydybug works well for now, super slicey.
Lightly insane.

Re: Which Itty Bitty?
Thanks to all for the great advice, I ended up going with the Ladybug in ZDP. Mostly because I wasn't sure if I could find one later.
Re: Which Itty Bitty?
Spin gets my vote.
VS the manbug / ladybug, I find it is less noticeable in the pocket due to how slim it is, while offering a more comfortable grip.
Most tiny 2-3 finger knives don't feel that great in my grip, but the Spin has always impressed me with its locked in feeling and solid build quality.
I'd carry it more but I find manipulating the lock release on a larger knife a lot easier, and I can choke up on the blade for small knife tasks.

Re: Which Itty Bitty?
My only itty bitty spyderco is the manbug salt, and I have no problem giving it my vote, regardless of the total lack of comparison.
In my work situation it is capable enough to be my only edc knife.
And in some ways outperform my larger knives.
I can’t overstate the utility of having scallops all the way out to the tip of the blade. It bites effortlessly into packages and open them safely with no worries that the knife will penetrate too far and damage the contents.
It is also the knife that pushed me into the realm of lanyards. I’m not a fan to say it gently, but on the MB it works extremely well. It allows me to carry it in my 5th where it is out of the way of all my other edc items, and I’m able to retrieve it and re-pocket it with less effort than clipped deep carry knives that I would otherwise use.
For illustration, I don’t actually carry three knives :)

Re: Which Itty Bitty?
Voted Manbug K390. I actually slightly prefer the Ladybug blade shape, but I have to go with the Manbug because the added girth fits my grip better. I think a Manbug handle with a little less "bellied" blade would be perfect! Though that SE Manbug Salt looks like it would be an extremely useful little utility blade.. an no need to worry about corrosion on those humid summer days..

I just added that same Manbug to my "collection." It resides on my keychain. I almost always have a ladybug in my 5th pocket.aicolainen wrote: ↑Fri May 28, 2021 1:52 amMy only itty bitty spyderco is the manbug salt, and I have no problem giving it my vote, regardless of the total lack of comparison.

I actually do often carry three knives, lol. In addition to the LB, usually a DF2 or Chaparral, and either Native 5 or Manix 2.

Had I voted in the poll, I'd have gone with "All too small for me". The only one I still carry is a Ladybug I ground into a Mosquito. Even that is a two-handed knife for me (my thumbs don't bend far enough to reach the opening hole anymore).
Re: Which Itty Bitty?
Manbug Salt.
SE H1 probably exceeds K390 in edge-holding, and the edge-length of its SE maybe even exceeds most of the PE options listed.

My FIRST choice would be the McBee. Love that little guy with the 1.5" locking blade.
