Trying to find a DLC Delica combo edge in FFG

Knife Center shows both pics in their listing. I'm assuming it's a rolling change from saber to FFG? Can anyone confirm a dealer who definitely has these in FFG? I'm trying to put together a customized knife for my buddy's birthday.

I think that's just a trick of the lighting and DLC making that first image look like a ffg; pretty sure it's still a saber.

If it was a ffg I think you'd be able to see the plunge line on both sides of the opening hole.

Ah crap I think you're right, I kinda see it now in the first pic.

Yeah, I have the Saber/Sabre ground Deica & Endura, and I did exhaustive searching before I bought them as I wanted FFG too, and have never found the FFG version of either the D4 or E4, and have never found a non-stock photo of one in the wild... as a certain Austrian Endela SE FFG fan around here will weight in.... ;) :D

CS has a fully serrated wharnie in FFG but not DLC.

I've never seen a PS in anything but the saber grind

Hey, All:

For the record, DLC is only available on US-made Spyderco knives. Japanese-made and Taiwanese-made knives have titanium carbonitride (TiCN) coating, and Chinese-made knives are black oxide coated.

As such, a DLC-coated Delica is not an option. A FFG combo edge with DLC coating is available in a Native 5 Lightweight and the Autonomy 2.

I hope this helps.

Stay safe,

Mike
