OTHER - Sage 5 LW. Sal said this knife would be available for sprints and exclusives. There have been no variants from the base model offered yet. It's an in the middle knife that fits big or small hands. It has the mid height thumb ramp, so it's not like going from a Native to a Para 3, or vice versa.
Would absolutely buy any sprint/exclusive or just new colors of the Sage 5 LW!!!
+1.
But just in the context of this poll: Not a Golden knife...
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)
The poll is IMO of little value. Military and especially the Civilian are only interesting to limited part of the forum, shaman might be an option, but still too large/bulky for many and there are literally dozens of PM2 versions already.
I subscribe to the idea of a more mainstream' model made with some new materials. I am not sure whether only Golden made models would be possible. Maybe someone from Spyderco team could chime in and let us know what would be the border conditions for something like a forum knife to happen.
I would like to an upscale model of some of designs that have not get that kind of attention yet, but at the same time I understand that the more 'upscale' the knife would get, the more expensive and thus fewer would be able to afford it.

Stable Mules; Z-Max, Z-Wear, Magna Cut, SRS13, Rex 76, Rex T15.
Military: Right hand liner lock. Forget it.
Shaman: Right hand compression lock. Forget it.
Civilian: While suitable for left handed use, the blade shape isn't what I need in a general purpose knife.
PM2: Right handed compression lock. Forget it.
I find it a little odd that the Manix 2 isn't offered with a fully serrated edge. Maybe even a Manix 2 XL that's fully serrated. If Magacut is suitable for a serrated blade, putting it on one of the above platforms would be great. If not, then a serrated Manix in K390 would be cool.
The reason I say the Military is because we are not likely to see another Military Exclusive due to slow sales, and there doesn’t seem to have a following anywhere like here on the forum. We haven’t seen a Sprint run in some time, and other than the Comp Lock Military, I’ve yet to hear any word of something in the future. I don’t think I’ve heard from any members on this forum who don’t like the Military, and if you haven’t tried one yet you’re missing out. The Military is such a quintessential Spyderco model and deserves to be a proper Forum Knife!

I would like to see the Scorpius come back as a Salt model with liner-less bi-directional FRN handle.
+1. I’ve always wanted to try a Scorpius, but I refuse to pay what they demand these days. This would really fill the bill, especially if Sal and Co. could make a really cool scorpion-inspired grip pattern for it.
If I buy a sprint run, it will be a cabinet queen. Model and blade steel aren't important to me. (I'm still expanding my knowledge of the various steels.) The only thing I'd have an opinion on is the handles...I'd want G10 or Micarta in a bright color, or maybe water camo, if that's doable.
Regular carrier: zome green Delica 4
Occasional/situational carrier: Dragonfly 2 with Wharncliffe blade
Display only: Manbug with Wharncliffe blade, Dragonfly 2 with Wharncliffe blade, zome green Delica 4
Native 5, smooth crimson g10, no liners, Magnacut.
I like where you're going.
I would like liners myself, it adds a bit of class to the knife.
If it comes out like that, I'm selling 80% of my previous knives, will need nothing else
