Still crossing my fingers for a SE version...
This thread is reminiscent of an older thread I did on an original GOLDEN CO made Native model I did a few years back. Because I had also grossly underestimated my 440V NATIVE model in full SE as well. I had even resigned myself at the beginning of a terrible job which I seriously thought would destroy any knife I would use that the knife would not survive the job. But much to my amazement I still own and still occasionally use the 440V, full SE, GOLDEN CO made Native model.

I have no doubt that the NATIVE Chief model is even better yet. And yes I also want to see a full SE Version of the Native Chief as much as you do. I'm kind of surprised that they haven't made a Native Chief available with TEETH as of yet. I have no doubt that a full SE NATIVE CHIEF would rank in the top 3 of all their serrated models.

I've never owned a Chief, (or anything from the Native family) but they're becoming more appealing to me as I'm starting to not like thumb ramps as much.
That's something I actually realized about myself over the past year. Manix, Shaman and Native Chief are my top 3. All with that similarity of little to no ramp.

Maybe when they make the LW version they’ll throw us SE junkies a bone.

This weekend - after a year of ownership - I realized why some folks aren't keen on thumb ramps (re: para 3); happily I can bridge the ramp fairly easily.

Even though I don't need a big folder I find the Chief's lines eye catching. When my knife budget catches up with my eye the Sage (5) may fight the Chief for title of next knife.

I need to start saving my pennies in case another Spyderco Native Chief or two is dropped.

My EDC has been the S90V Native Chief from the day it arrived. Always thinking there could be another and another and another....and I'll collect what I can afford.

Could have bought my M4 version I had up on the swap page! But, that place doesn't get much attention so I ended up having to sell it through Ebay instead :disappointed

I’ve seen some s90v sprint versions floating around if you’re interested I can try to find the sites. But I recommend the Rex 45 version.

I don't have any cash on me right now, but I'd be interested in a brand new in box S90V Native Chief, maybe around the 3rd of next month. PM me the web sites and I'll see what I can scrape up.

Thanks!
