I was logged in before 9 AM, and was able to add one to my cart immediately. Of course, then, the checkout process died continually. I was finally able to get one after 30-35 minutes – theoretically. That is, the PayPal connect finally worked and let me pay. I got a receipt from the site, but given the circumstances, I wasn't sure I'd actually gotten one because I'd checked here and Instagram where people said it was already sold out. No worries - either I got one, or I'd get a refund.

But a little later, I was able to get to my account on the site, and checked my orders. The list showed one order processing (the one I was able to PayPal), and 18 (!!) orders pending. So it looks like maybe reloading the checkout page, or maybe clicking the PayPal checkout button (even though it died several times) created orders and possibly virtually pulled inventory. I cancelled all of the mysterious pending orders on my account. As of 10:33 PDT, they're still available to Add to Cart...

Baaaaa! 0 for 2 this week! After 25 minutes of server errors (all with the knife in my cart) and not being allowed to complete the paypal check out...sold out.

Exact same situation here! Once the site started working for me, I just couldn't get past checkout.

Sooo...go back now! They're listed as in stock, and I was able to check out no problem. Fingers crossed it's not a mistake!

A small business is always going to have trouble running a website that can handle the traffic surge from an exclusive drop. I wonder if there is a market for a 'just for today' website upgrade service that only handles the one item?

I'm kinda shocked these are still there after the website crashed so hard/instantly/so long... thinking people must have gave up during the rush en masse. But, turns out I had some points saved up so I convinced myself I had to pull the trigger. :o Oof, even with the bonus I just cleared at work I gotta say this and the Slysz destroyed my :spyder: budget for a good while. :o
