It's made my job @ bladeforums dealing with the horde with their torches and pitchforks lots of fun. My faith in mankind is diminished by the actors on both sides of this matter.
I haven't checked in over there is a few weeks. I can only imagine the response. It can't be much worse than some of the stuff I was seeing in the FB groups and IG

It was bad. I spent quite a while last night sending out cease and desist orders to members who wanted to tar and feather other members who were asking ridiculously high prices for the knife. (And then remove the offending posts to the moderator only section.) It wasn't pretty.

Today, my wife has the migraine that I should have inherited after hours of that b.s. Wish I could take it for her.

I like it. $400 is definitely on the high end for it, but I am glad that I got it. It thumb flicks great, but is harder to get to the hole on the back than my Chef for middle finger flicking. That ano gets dirtier than any I have ever seen and looks dingy really quick. I may end up stripping the ano. It feels good in hand and seems to be really well made.

Seriously, lets see some pics and hear some thoughts! Meanwhile, I'll just leave this here...

When I bought the Bowie, it was the most I ever spent on a knife (at just over $200 pre MAP). It blew me away with it's workmanship, fantastic grind, and great EDC size. The upswept tip took some getting used to, but it was my primary knife for the majority of a year after I got it. Despite all of the use and carry, it still looks almost the same as the day I received it, with the stonewashed finish hiding nearly all wear and tear. When it was disco'd I mostly stopped carrying it because I couldn't stand the idea of losing it and not being able to replace it. M390 and blue Ti didn't get me excited, but if there is an exclusive in 10v/K390/M4/4v you know I'm going to jump on it.

What more is there? :D

Seriously, we've heard all the basic details already. I think Normal added about all there is to add

I still can't believe all the pandemonium this drop caused. Crazy! I'm happy I was never on the SB band wagon and I appreciate the models I do have

Mine showed up last Friday. I slid the box open and peeked through the bubble bag to confirm it was the correct model. I think it's blue, and based on the evil aura radiating from it, I can safely assume that the blade has a satin finish. Anyway, I can't be bothered with such things right now...I'm entirely too busy doing sweet ninja moves with my Rex Chief in front of the bathroom mirror.

...I was considering getting one of these for exact that purpose, too

When another run happens and the hype is gone, I may buy one. A G10 presentation scale edition with a lower price point would be an automatic purchase.

Knifejoy shipped my last knife UPS and it took 16 days. I haven’t had the desire to give them my business since. Anyone get one of these to actually use and not just flip?

My wife says mine showed up today. I'll carry it and use it at work tomorrow. Likely doing a comparison/difference between the quality/materials between it and a CRK.

Glad to hear! It's a great user once you get used to the tip angle.
