That's a beautiful knife and I'd sure love to be the proud new owner! Thanks for doing this. I love the Spyderco community.

I think the Rit dye job is vastly preferably to the garish factory black and yellow.

I’ve followed the adventures of this knife since you started posting. I feel like I know it better than lots of my own. Thanks for the generous giveaway!

I have to say that the colour of the scales is something that Sal should consider as a option for the future.
And whatever her age, your daughter will be "borrowing" your collection in the years to come... :)

Nice gesture, Mr D...

CMIIAW correct me if I am wrong...
Are not the color choices so they can be more visible when under water?

This is a fantastic idea and I would be honored to be the care taker of this fine blade for a little while.

I love the spirit of this giveaway. Whether or not I am selected as the next owner of this knife, I am excited at the idea of doing this in my own way for some person who might appreciate it.

Thank you!

I’m in. I’m a big fan of this model in plain edge but have not owned any serrated edges yet.

Many thanks for your generosity, David. I'm in.

PS. If this is not a violation of the rules (if it is, just forget about it), and I am the lucky winner, I am ready and willing to pay for the shipment. One thing is giving away your knive and another one to have to pay for it. Your generosity can't cost you money in addition!

I'm not in on this one since I've owned this knife before (it's awesome, btw), but I wanted to say how generous this is of you, David! And I love the pay-it-forward idea.

Count me in. My oldest son just got an intern job with a landscape company on the SC Coast. A rustproof knife for him would be great.
