Police 3 Replacement Washers

#1

Post by JohnDoe99 »

I had to sharpen a Police 3 for a friend but before that I disassembled the knife because of rust locking up the action, and I ended up losing one of the bronze washers. Does Spyderco do replacement washers and if not, does anyone know what size the Police 3's washers are so I can try and find some for sale online?

Having a list of washer dimensions would be handy. Just like there is a HRC list already.

The pm2 washers are much larger than the police's, but the problem is that none of the websites selling replacements specify the model or brand rhe washers fit for, they just give dimensions.

So, if you still have one washer, can't you just measure it to obtain the correct dimensions? That's what I'd do.

The washer appears to be 5/16 wide and the pivot is 3/16 but the information provided by the internet sellers is typically inadequate. I will have to call Spyderco next week.

Unfortunately, this I can believe. Best of luck!

Don't forget to measure the thickness.
