Are we going to see a REX45 UKPK???

Post by cycleguy »

Hey All,

Are we going to see a burnt orange REX45 UKPK?

There were a lot of golden models recently done in Rex45 but the UKPK wasn't among the list!!! What's up with that???

Glad it is available as a salt, but would much prefer Rex.

It wouldn't matter to me if it was the drop point or the leaf; I'd be happy with either :D !!! And if it was available in both varieties, I'd be getting each.

Time to rattle the ears of Spyderco!!!

I’m hopeful it’ll end up in a permanent model like k390 and m4 did.

Although just making it a permanent offer for all golden models wouldn’t be the worst thing :D
Lightly insane.

Current spydie collection: Watu, Rhino, UKPK Salt G10 bladeswap, Yojimbo 2 Smooth G10 Cru-Wear, Manix lw “mystic” 20cv, SmallFly 2, Waterway, Ladybug k390, Caribbean
Current favorite steels: sg2/R2, lc200n/Z-FiNit, 3v

That would be amazing -- I like K390 nearly as well as I like Rex45 & my hope was that since they did all the testing to get SE K390 just right that we might see a PE/SE pair of K390 UKPK's like the soon to be dropping LC200N models.... but either K390 or Rex45, I'm 100% for both a SE & PE

It hadn’t occurred to me until just now, but all of the iterations (that I’m aware of) have been in stainless steels. I would be interested in trying the model out in Rex, K390, etc.

Until I used a ukpk, never had much interest in it. Now I like to have one around. It is actually somewhat addictive to open/close. More like a bank vault type slip joint instead of the more mushy type actions some have. Gives a somewhat secure feeling during use, especially when utilizing the choil.

The orange frn Rex45 would be a very attractive choice. G10 would work, as well.

I would definitely be down for a REX45 in G10. It would likely replace the HH G10 one.

But, would be OK with FRN as well.

I'd buy a Rex 45 UKPK, but I'd still prefer MAXAMET. :)

I'd buy just for the color, alone. The steel is a real plus.
