Spyderco Customs Club

I love spyderco knives. The main draw to me when I started my collection was how customizable they are with aftermarket parts and pieces. Far cheaper than most hobbies but costs enough to take seriously. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the factory made knives and components, I just can’t leave good enough alone. Maybe I’m a snowflake, I have to be “unique”, maybe I’m just a close to 40 year old man going through a mid life crisis... Either way, all that said the DLT S90v PM2 is the best combo from the factory exclusive/sprint runs yet in my opinion. I won’t be doing anything to that one excepting a deep carry clip.

Yeah, that knife looks good, very tactical but good.

I'm glad the green on black color combos are getting some love. I'd like to see more models made in these colors.

Hey Ryan,

Welcome to the forum!

It's funny, I was attracted to Spyderco for precisely the opposite reason - the care, intention, innovation, and excellence that goes into each and every feature of the stock knives. The Stretch was my first, and is an excellent example.

Anyway, I digress. That knife from DLT sure is a looker. I haven't had a chance to sample S90V yet, but it's definitely one the list.

Unfortunately, my knife budget is limited, and there were simply too many other knives coming out soon for me to jump on this one.

Enjoy it, it's a keeper.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

2nd! I’d like to see a dark brown (FDE maybe) and black thrown in too.
