Hi Superfool,
haven't seen you about for a while.
Yeah - I am frontline NHS staff in the UK. Paramedic in Surrey and London, and I work as an ECP in a hospital. I have also been doing community vaccination programs for the elderly and vulnerable, so I tend to get time to peak on here once a week if that. Throw in my 10 pence worth (about 14c) and then back to it.
Just busy busy busy.

Actually, I couldn't squeeze a Damasteel UK into queue as Golden is so far behind., but we do have a Damasteel Urban in the works in Maniago. So your question did bear fruit, of a different flavor. It's a Sprint run with Damasteel blade and G10 scales. The steel has already been ordered. :D

So is the DAMAUKPK idea replaced with the Urban, or just put back a bit?

Hi Superfool,

Thanx for your servi
ce.

I think just pushed back to to capacity issues. Really, it will depend on the reaction to the Urban. I carry a UK quite a bit, all models. The HH version is very nice and I wouldn't mind seeing a Damasteel version.

Hi Superfool,
Thanx for your service.
You don't have to thank me; I do it because I chose to.
But you're welcome anyway.

In truth, the UKPK is by a country mile my favourite Spyderco. Such a simple and elegant solution to the problem of restrictive knife laws. It blows my mind that other companies took so long to come to the game.

I have a very kind chap on here with dibs on a pair of salts for me, and I have been in the queue for the HH for more than 2 years now.

I wanted to have the DAMAUKPK for myself amd my best man in a couple of years at my (hopefully) wedding day. Probably have to get a plan B in the pipes. :)

Resurrecting this thread.

Any more news on the HH UKPK, or the Salt version, Sal?

Also, anything further on the DAMAUKPK?

Hi Superfool,

I always have a hard time with "when"s" due to all of the possible glitches. So I generally avoid the question. sorry.

Sal,

I'm not sure if you will see this post, but just a quick note to say I jumped on the HH UKPK as soon as it came back into stock at Heinnie and I absolutely love it. So much so that I immediately ordered a 2nd one as a spare!

Thanks for designing such a great non locking sub 3 inch knife with the UK market in mind. It's a masterpiece. Cheers!

UKPeaKay.
