I’d like to see a version of Phil’s Coyote Meadow, thinly ground and in K390, and a return to the Wilson fillet knife that never made it into production.

Perhaps SPY27 would be a good steel to try out for that kind of knife?

Hossom too!

I haven't even thought of those Hossom models in quite some time now. I haven't even seen one or heard one talked about for at least 4 years that I can remember. And when those Hossom models were around it seemed like almost everyone was trying to make trades for them.
I would like to see what type or variant of a Gurkha Kukri that Hossom would come up with. I also bet he could come up with an awesome "razel" type blade. You see Hossom occasionally in the knife magazines but not like I did about 10 years ago.

Don't give them any ideas YAB :eek: As much as a lot of the guys liked Frank Centofante they might just try it :D

I was almost sick when Sal said some time back that they had destroyed all the tooling for the C-50 Centofante model. I held out hope for a long time that we would see a Sprint Run of the C-50 only to find out the bad news. I traded both of my C-50 models some time back and I've never had the opportunity to get another one. That C-50 reminded me so much of that classic Phil Boguszewski Spike model which was a Benchmade model that I cut my teeth on with high end blades.

Those C-25 Centofante models used to be quite easy to find. I bet it would be a hard job to find one now.

I still want to see both the C-111 Captain and Breeden Rescue return in in full SE. I won't give up hope on that idea. Why they never made either one or both of those Breeden models with a full Spyderedge always confused me. Because both of those models would have sold like Rolling Stones tickets had they been made available in full SE.

And the ULIZE would have been an awesome model in full SE as well. Why Spyderco doesn't do at least one of their great recurve models in full Spyderedge has always baffled me :confused:

If Spyderco did an SNG with a proper opening hole and no massive sharpening notch, I'd buy one.

Those are my two biggest hang-ups with that brand too.

Mike Read. The integral spring/torsion bar design is too brilliant to only be used on once. Even if the PITS itself gets another run some day, I’d love to see another design.

The Glessers are my #1 favorite designers of any product ever, of all time. I would like to see more original Glesser designs :)

I think Gayle Bradley would be the collaborator I'm most excited to see more of. The GB2 is one of the most flawlessly executed knives in my small collection. It's uniquely Spyderco, but has great aesthetic balance and is a hard worker.

I would also like to see what Jony Ive could do in the cutlery space. He's made plenty of terrible things, but coming from outside of the knife world I could imagine some unique perspective. Dieter Rams could be a nice sub in, too :)

Kevin Smock & Serge Panchenko. More than any other.

I'm a big big fan of collaborations, and there are many more makers that made extremely cool knives together with Spyderco. But Smock and Panchenko, I would kill for more collab knives with Spyderco. Well, not actually kill, but... :rolleyes:
