I'm very happy for all of you that love bright orange and love the Chief. My wallet is happy I'm not one of you, though. Unfortunately there's never a shortage of other things to tempt me. ;) ;)

Meanwhile I'm STILL continuing on with nothing new since late November! I'm pretty sure this a record for me...though I guess buying a BM, a couple CRK's and a Bradford does fill that void :p

Awaiting something new and exotic, jaw dropping but also functional and not a gimmick *looking at you Pochi*

Same.
Most recently acquired: Military 2, Paramilitary 2 Tanto x2, YoJUMBO, Swayback, Siren, DLC Yojimbo 2, Native Chief, Shaman S90V, Para 3 LW, Ikuchi, UKPK, Smock, SUBVERT, Amalgam, Para 3 CTS-XHP, Kapara, Paramilitary 2 M390
Grail Paramilitary 2 M390 X 2! ACHIEVED!!

At first I did not, I admit it, but I've been looking at the Pochi and Michael Janich's Chicagojimbo. I think I need one or two small knives for self defense if/when I ever go in to Chicago.

Besides, Jason Statham, Keanu Reeves, and Tommy Lee Jones all carry a Pochi, and I want to be a hard core operator like them!

But seriously, I'll have a Pochi(maybe) and Chicagojimbo(100% sure if they are ever in stock) before the year is out. I know where the carotid artery is and in a pinch, I can hit it with my index finger.

Not tempted... :) I’m content after I received the S90V sprint.

Hey, Naperville:

I grind all the Chicagojimbos for 5x5 myself--usually in batches of 5 or 10. If they're out of stock, they let me know and I do more as needed. They also maintain a waiting list, so folks who want them can get them in a first-come, first-served order.

Stay safe,

Mike

I’m with radioactive, I might just have to swap the scales for blacked out and carbon fiber XHP with the S90V in some safety orange.

Mr Janich, thank you for the response! Let me see what I can do later in the week and it is possible I'll order a Chicagojimbo right away. The IRS allegedly is going to deposit $1400 this week in my bank account. I've been chasing after the IRS since September of 2020!!!

The Chicagojimbo is a beautiful knife and I need to stay legal in Chicago!

Did anyone find out how many pieces were in their exclusive XHP Shaman run from last month? I think this will be a blowout as well, probably not like the Shaman was, but still there and gone in the first hour, probably in the first quarter of it...

I am going to try and snag one -- I like the Chief platform and I think we'll see at least a BladeHQ & St Nicks version before the year is out, anyone else have a prediction for sold-out time?

I want one, so I hope it takes a week to sell out! I'll try to get my order in on the first day, but I rarely get in on these.

The Rex45 held on longer than I thought it would. I originally wanted it, but almost passed on it when it came out, but now glad I got one. Its a very nice knife to me.

I think many who lost out on the Z Wear Shaman jumped on the Cutlery Shoppe version.

Im still debating if I will go for it or not, I do like the color combo, and the chief is really nice!

This was the first time that I was able to purchase a high demand knife! Nice knife!!!

3rd Native Chief!!! I need to get the S30V now.

So far it has only been released in S30V, Rex45, XHP, and S90V right? I cannot believe that I actually have a decent Spyderco collection now!

This will be the first iteration of the Chief I dont buy. Not a fan of Orange in the slightest, but for Rex45 I was willing to buy and dye. XHP doesn't really call my name. DLC is nice.

I will say this, 30 seconds in Racing Red RIT Dye-More (7parts water, 1 part dye) will have that looking like a St. NICKS Exclusive.
If I was going to dye one, this is the one, and I'd dye the scales black!
