Happy? For my daughter, definitely!

Me? Not so much.

This Easter is proving to be a chore. I get to hide the eggs, finish this fancy dessert, clean my house, wash the car, do laundry, visit my folks for Easter dinner, deliver a meal to my elderly Aunt and finally, pack up for a trip to Montgomery, AL(yay...) in the morning...

I'd kill for a nap about now! Heck, roll the boulder over the door, if that's what it takes! :D :p

I may not make it through this... But, I wouldn't trade the memories for anything.

(Apologies for the religious humor, it keeps me going.)

Not at all... I love it!
I agree with you. Parenting is the toughest job you'll ever love, to borrow a slogan.

Someone in our town puts these crosses up every year at Easter time. I drove over there yesterday and took these pics

Well I broke the top of my foot this morning when the oven door slipped out of my hand and fell on top of my foot. So yeah that's fun.

Ouch! That's a low oven door. Hope it heals up well.

I should dig up the photos of when I shattered my foot on a diving board during practice, back when I was in H.S.

Career ending move, it was. Very nasty!

Kudos for taking care of the Aunt! That's classy!

Happy Easter all! I'll be carrying my "dress knife" today, my CF Chap!
