Now that the Slysz Bowie re-release is over we can focus on the next Reveal. Can't wait until this drops...

i'm excited to see what spyderco is planning, but we're still waiting on knives from reveal 5, which came out a year ago. seems silly to have another new reveal when spyderco is so far behind in releasing models from previous reveals and even in stocking their current production models.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Valid point. I’m currently waiting, money in hand, for the GB2 restock.

For me, a new reveal could make models on my short list become an easier pass.

Ex: The reveal of a production run CruCarta Manix 2 would make me pass on the PM2.

Yeah, the idea behind the Reveal concept is undermind by these huge delays and as a Spyderco collector but with a limited budget I am quite confused. I am still waiting for a few models allready “revealed” and this is frustrating to say at least.

Covid 19 is going to mess up delivery times for the foreseeable future. Nobody anywhere is at 100%. If it were up to me, I would pause the Reveals in order to help set realistic customer expectations. Or do more mini-Reveals on models that are confirmed to be 4 weeks out.

Last reveal really didn't do anything for me, a Lil' Nirvana would really make this a great year.

LOL, people are getting quite confused now of Reveal process, girls whatcha gonna do :D ...keep calm and carry on, breathe in breathe out.

I think we should let Spyderco do their Reveals weather you're getting confused with your collecting or not, I'm interested to see the new models even they are getting late bringing some models from the previous reveals into the market.

No need to get all itchy, whatever will be revealed in the coming days, will be hitting dealerships in late autumn, give or take.

I'd be curious to hear Sal and others thoughts on the Reveals, now that we've had a few.

Were they an improvement on the way we used to do it? (Announce new models individually as they were being developed). I personally thought this method allowed for more community input on designs.

I remeber we stopped doing it that way because of complaints from people that it was taking too long from when they heard of the new model to when they actually got it in hand.

Has switching to the Reveal method helped that at all?

that would make sense if there hadn't been 22 exclusives already this year. no idea how many in the last year since reveal 5.

don't get me wrong, the exclusives bring us some cool, unique options, but i'd rather see the normal production models available instead of the constant, frantic exclusives cycle.
