Welcome to the forum, Greg!

Pretty great taste with those classic spydies, as others have said.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Thank you to all for your welcomes.

@Higher, my first Spyderco knife was an Enuff Sheepsfoot H1 knife I bought for scuba diving. I also bought the Dragonfly and Pacific Salt also in H1 for use on the dive boat and other wet conditions. With over one hundred dives, they are all performing well which led me to buy the Domino. Love that flipper and I slowly acquired additional " mainstream" Spydercos like the PM2 and Shaman.

@Wartstein, I think I have the same definition of"mainstream" (e.g., Delica). They are great knives with design innovation and executed by true artisans. However, I am attracted to the opposite of mainstream knives like my Chaparral Stepped Ti and Subvert. (LOL. The antonym of mainstream is exceptional or extraordinary, which might apply to all Spyderco knives!)

@Sumdumguy - LOL. Good one; I laughed out loud!

@ the other Canadians, nice to meet you. I hope you are doing well.

@ the rest of the community, thanks for the welcome and sharing your knowledge.

@DocDan, My wallet is at risk! I have a Vrango enroute. Cheers.

@Sal, respect.

Take care, stay safe, and be sharp.

Hello, I'm Greg
I'm a Canadian living in Australia and have been lurking here for a while. I would like to say hello and introduce myself. While I have a few other brands of knives, I do like the Spydie's. Today I received a Jot Singh Khalsa and a Lil Lum Nishijin - super happy.
Take care, stay safe, and be sharp.
