Based on the size and number of shipping boxes they showed on their IG, it looks like it was about a 2400 piece run, as was the wharnie PM2 from last month.

Their website says the wharncliffe pm2 was a 900 piece run.

Yeah but the dimension of the boxes suggests either a much larger run (maybe they got satin and DLC at the same time), or that Spyderco uses a huge amount of packing material that accounts for more than half of the box volume.

According to USPS I should be getting mine today, has anyone else received theirs or receiving it today? Pretty good for USPS lately given mine didn't ship until the day after the drop...

Mine should be here today via Usps. I am also receiving my zcarta shaman today so that’s exciting. 0–>2 shamans in 1 day.

Mine just arrived via USPS about an hour ago, living in the next state over really helped delivery time . . . I just took a quick peek and everything looks great, I'll take some pics and post some comments here in a little while.

Due to a lack of time I'm just going to put up a pic with it and most of its family members... It's *BRIGHT* - well, the scales are. The fit & finish are on point & what I have experienced with all dozen of my Shaman family members. Very sharp OOTB, and under a 30x and 60x loupe the edge looks great, I did give it a little strop love and it's ready for some work. Aside from the mandatory clip replacement the only other thing needed was an almost quarter turn (looser) of each side of the pivot and it now has 100% perfect action. I like it, I'm interested to see how this batch XHP does, and if it's been run any harder/softer (from an HRC perspective) than some of the earlier XHP... Overall I would say 5/5 stars, but I may put on some micarta scales, we'll see.

Sharpest Tootsie Roll I’ve ever seen! Mine got into a fight with an aluminum can and won. Edge didn’t seem affected in the slightest.

Yeah... the fit and finish seems crisp and tight. Think I might knock down some edges and loosen the pivot, give it a more relaxed feel. Currently just working the action a bit to see if it loosens up over a week's time. Briefly considered a nub delete, but with the DLC I don't want to disrupt the finish.

All kidding aside, I'm guessing there will be a Satin run in the not to distant future...

actually, managed to snag a LNIB one on the secondary for a very small markup. I'm not usually one for orange, but this hasn't left my pocket since it came in! I never expected the G10 to be this vibrant.
