LC200N Lil' Native

#1

Post by atv223 »

My Lil' Native Rex 45 is becoming one of my favorite and most carried knives.

Has there been any interest or talk about a Lil' Native in LC200N?

I have Native 5 Salt and it's fine but I like the Lil' Native size better and have come to like it more than my Dragonfly Salt.

Well, there were a handful of LC200N Lil Native blades that ended up getting trapped in some whiskey glasses... I'm sure someone has liberated one by now to make their very own LC200N Lil Native. (Thought not a true Salt)

As far as I know the blades in those Benshot Lil Native glasses were fully finished minus the edge. I like to think those blades were made for more than just the Benshot glasses and hoping that there will be some Lil Native Salts as a result in the near future.

People on here have been expecting one for a long time, especially after the whiskey glasses were announced. The glasses have a backlock blade in them, though, so we figured the backlock Lil' Native salt would be a reality soon at least. But Covid has screwed up all kinds of production plans, so who knows.

If they did a lil native lightweight backlock salt with jimping then I would get one in serrated edge.

The no jimping is a deal breaker for me. I would use this knife how I use my dfly salt and native 5 salt, which is as a boardshort knife. For me that means it needs jimping and more grip on the handle.

after the whiskey glasses, we thought we'd see one for a while. then the para 3 lw came out and we thought maybe the next step would be a para 3 lw salt. hopefully, somewhere down the line, there's a lil native lw that will also eventually be sold as a lil native lw salt. as i've said in previous threads on this topic, i'd personally prefer a lil native salt with full liners, a comp lock, and g10, but i think i'm in the minority there.
