Are there any other pics of this? I'm specifically interested in the liners -- are they coated black too, or are they satin?
I don't normally try for exclusives that sell out in a few seconds, but I like this color combo (assuming the liners are black) and the price isn't outlandish.
DLT commented on their post on instagram that the liners are stainless, not black.

Thanks for the info. (I don't "do" social media, so although I saw they had posted this on their Instagram page, I don't have an Instagram account so I can't read the posts there.)
The satin liners makes this less interesting to me. I realize they come from different factories, but it's odd that they can put black liners in a Tenacious but not in a PM2.

These may have been under production before that change. Or perhaps all/many of the exclusives ordered before the change was put into effect will still have satin liners that they were originally ordered with?
I think the all black liners/compression lock will look really good on the PM2. I'm excited to start getting exclusives/sprints that have them at some point.
No black liners is a good excuse for me to pass. :)
It's a good excuse for me to sell my Cru-ple PM2 and Para 3 too. I FOMO'd into them because of the DLC Cruwear, but I think I'm going to sell them and just keep the Cru-ple Manix and pick up the Cru-carta PM2. I don't care too much for the Para 3 anyways. I've made some big purchases lately and need to pare down the collection some. I think I'm going to have to institute a new rule for not buying DLC knives with uncoated liners to help keep my collection manageable! :eek:
I just hope that by the time a new DLC Military comes out it has the coated liners so I don't have to break said new rule! :D

Has there EVER been a PM2 or any other comp lock knife with black liners? I can’t think of one.
Must be a thing with comp locks or something and is certainly not a deal breaker for me.
It's something new they implemented recently due to customer demand. My understanding was that all comp locks and liner locks going forward would have DLC Coated liners if their blades are DLC coated. I think the DLC Yojimbo has it now. Or maybe the Yojumbo. I can't recall.
It adds a bit to the cost, so maybe exclusives inked before the change are still going to have uncoated liners.

This one is one I'd love to get, but I have too many PM2s as it is, so just can't justify. But I do love S90V, and the color scheme is killer. I'm trying to stick or just new models, instead of more variations of existing models ... Even when said models are my favorite!
Hoping for a quick sellout so I only need to demonstrate strong will power for a short period of time.

I think you might be right in a way. The PM2 was one of my first spydies. And I think most of the people who have been here for a bit have had an opportunity to grab a number of nice options in that design. I love S90V, and that color combo is great. Just not in the market for another PM2, Shaman, Para3, Native, etc. I have multiples of each. Did just buy a Chief sprint though :D only have 2 of those.
I think that's only true for some of the forum AFI's though. The masses love the classics.

Same here I like the PM2 and might pick this up because I don’t have a S90V PM2 but I’m a sucker for millies, I’m hoping we start to see more sprint or exclusives of it, eventually people will get tired of all the PM2 sprint and exclusives they have been putting out in recent years
This one may make my S30V version of this knife expendable now, I've never had S90V...Just can't believe the price of PM2's these days though, and I don't even really care for the model...hmmmm, I may have just talked myself out of it haha!
Not going to lie that price is close to what I paid for my first PM2 at my local military surplus store. I felt a bit like a chump when I saw how much they were online (130 - 140 for a camo / dlc). BUT, I was happy I could support a local business that's been in the neighborhood for decades.
