Looks great, but I prefer a native 5 in this size category. I just looked at Spydiewiki and see that the Native 5 has never been run in the M390/20CV/204P family. Hopefully that is rectified soon!

I mean the PM2 & PM3’s are undoubtedly an easy sell out for dealers of exclusives so I understand why they are the most frequently offered. I suppose waiting around for a knife like the native to sell out in 15 minutes is a liability compared to a <2 minute sell out.

Not necessarily. As far as I understand exclusives are for one dealer and either can be offered only once (like REC para 3) or multiple times (like BBS para 3).

I still want clarification on this. At one point Sal said dealers had to keep reordering every so often to keep their exclusives, but it seems like some don't.

I believe that is relating to locking in the scale color/blade finish combo for a "family" of exclusives. Not pertaining to each individual knife. For example, BHQ and St Nick's will likely never repeat the same model in their signature Jade/M4 and Red/4V families, but as long as they keep contracting for new models in those colors, no one else can use Red/DLC or Jade/Satin or Jade/DLC on any knives. Many exclusive models have been marketed as one-time only runs.

I’ve been wanting a Para 3 in 20CV but I wasn’t expecting it in a lightweight model. I hope this is a fairly large run since there’s no buying limit, otherwise the scalpers will buy em all up to resell.

Wow, that is alot lighter color than the original picture. Baby blue is not for me, but I guess it could be rit dyed a darker blue. Have to think about this one.

I agree, I just got my first Para 3, and first day carrying it, but I don't think I love the design as much as I thought I would. My Para 1 is a lot smoother and I think I like the format of my Natives and Delicas better. I do want some 20CV from Spyderco, and this definitely would have been a better value than the SPY27, so I'm tempted to pick one up, but I probably should wait for a Native or non-Zome (sooo ugly) Delica.

I actually don't mind that color, those two Para 3s in the photo aren't far off the main and trim color in my last house, maybe a little darker, lol.

I had too much time to mull it over, and I'm starting to think I might pick one of these up and give the SPY27 to my dad for his birthday.

New steel + good birthday present for dad = win win
