It is such a cute little knife in carbon, but the lack of any 3D shaping is a missed opportunity I think.

Awesome. Thank you. I’ve never ordered there before. So hopefully it goes thru.

I got a Collector's Club piece. The action is gritty; so I took apart the knife, cleaned it and used KPL. Still gritty. Its cool though, this was always gonna be a user and eventually it'll smooth out. It still drops shut nicely somehow.

Back at Fradon... https://www.safeandlockstore.com/knives ... print-run/

I've ordered from the good folks at Safe and Lock. Happy, Happy, Happy. I bought the Pena Apache X instead of this lil' gem. I'm tempted to pull the trigger on this Spyderco since I mostly collect smaller knives.

Take care all

Just received mine today and the action was very gritty as others have described. It was also a pain to switch the clip to left hand carry as the screws were drenched in loctite. It’s a nice little knife but will need to break in plenty before the action smooths out.

No complaints on my lil native. It is now my favorite small knife to carry. I like the feel of peel ply cf.

Just received one. I like it. While it is slightly gritty it also drops shut which is nice.

I have a question though. It looks like the ramped part of the lock on mine has a divot which I have not seen on my only other compression lock. Is this normal?

Detent ramp? Where the detent ball on the lock bar moves onto the blade tang as the knife closes.

Yep, and you can take it apart and clean it, but the "gritty"-ness you feel may be the detent ball running over the grind lines in the steel. I have had a few S90V blades like that. It will wear in after lots of use.
So it goes.
