Congratulations, Frederic!
The Ladybug and Jester are great starters for Spyder-addicts younger than 1 year.

Congratulations and good luck. As for a knife for a small child, I'd strongly suggest NOT to buy him one. My 1.6 yrs. old son learned pretty fast how to open a spydie, which is a dangerous thing as he may easily cut or stab himself or the others. Therefore I made for him a plastic slip joint folder with a rounded tip. He got bored pretty fast, but it was far much safer.
