Good timing... It should reach people just in time for showing off at a 4th of July barbeque!

I predict that this one won't be gone within a few minutes. Although, who knows how many (or few) were made, so I might be wrong.

$260 is a little steep for me. Like it, but not that much.

Decent deal for first responders if they get their discount.

Got mine too! :D

I had hoped this release wouldn't be as crazy as some of the other recent ones since it wasn't as widely advertised (and the double flag design has its critics) but was very pleasantly surprised to have a completely smooth checkout. Also surprised to see that it wasn't eligible for OpFocus, first time I've noticed that on a knife that wasn't clearance.

Can confirm, no first responder discount, I got it off the dragonfly that was already in the cart but not on the PM2. Definitely a little disappointed but I wanted this one too much not to order it anyway.

Well, they'll probably be worth a lot someday if you keep the box and all the paper.
A real collectable.

I believe previous forum knives have always been at MAP not MSRP. Honestly I believe this is probably the best way to discourage flippers. It certainly discouraged me from buying two.

There was no way I was letting this one pass. I’m not a PM2 collector either. Their Maxamet model is $227.50. With the engraving and the special scales I would say that the price is right in line with their standard pricing.

Is this a forum knife? I thought it was a regular Sprint run, though definitely a special design. I had been planning to get a second one to keep in the box as a backup/collectible but was also discouraged by the cost.

Same, I'm not a PM2 collector specifically but there was no chance I was letting this one slip! :spyder:

It's not a forum knife but it is the first one that I'm aware of that's been available exclusively at Spyderco.com like the forum knives that didn't have a code for MAP pricing.
