I don't know if it has been discussed but a hard pass from me, sorry.

Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition
There was some discussion. I loved the spoof Texas Military that got posted.

I'd definitely buy an Idaho themed knife, so I can see the appeal for people who live in Colorado. :)

Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition
talk about a target audience. i don't want to hear anything about a knife anyone asks for being too specialized.
keep your knife sharp and your focus sharper.

Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition
Admittedly not for me, but it’s a neat celebration of Spyderco’s heritage, so I’m all for it!
rex121 is the king of steel, but nature’s teeth have been cutting for hundreds of millions of years and counting

It'll be good for collectors once nobody can buy one anymore.

Aftermarket scales? That 3" of flowing American flag would be glorious at a 4th of July Barbecue! :)

Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition
I actually really like Colorado g10.. definitely different, and a cool nod to Golden. With a satin blade, I'd be all over it. The US flag blade though, combined with the CO g10 looks absolutely.. *shiny footprints, shiny footprints, shiny footprints* .. much too busy for my preferences. I think it's one of those knives that will be a really cool collector's piece in 20 years.. there's just too much going on there stylistically for me to be interested in buying/owning one haha..

..well, that escalated quickly..

Considering how many of you are here and moving to CO now, it might be a good idea... OR not. Definitely not.

Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition
That blade with a solid red, white or blue g10 handle would look nice. And I think the Colorado flag handle would look great with a plain blade. Together, it's just too much for me. If I were from Colorado, I might grab one and do a blade swap.
Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition
Back in the day it was cool for natives and locals to sport the CO flag cause there was a since of pride being from here. Now days, it is basically a tell tale sign that that person isn't from here. 100 Colorado stickers on a Subaru Outback just screams "transplant" today. I like the design though.Notsurewhy wrote: ↑Fri Feb 26, 2021 2:41 pmThat blade with a solid red, white or blue g10 handle would look nice. Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition
I'd like it better without the American Flag on the blade. No offense to Old Glory, but it just seems like "a bit much" here.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.
Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

I'm surprised the CO model isn't a ClipiTool with alligator clip accessory...The Spyderco HippiTool...wowwww man, faaaarrr out!
What is truth? Pontius Pilate
Re: SPY27 PM2 Colorado Edition
It does absolutely no good to throw negative comments out there. Just because I really dislike the knife doesn't mean that it isn't someone else's grail.

My first reaction was not very good; but it's so over the top, it's growing on me.
Could be an interesting 50 knife collection if they expanded the scope after the Colorado edition.

The scales are kinda hard to look at, not my style.
