Eric is live talking knives right now in case you want to tune in or check the vod when it’s all over. He’s mentioned a lot of neat stuff!

Watching the replay now. I'm enjoying how candid Eric is about balancing warranty vs designing for the customer to mod and dial in to preference. Thanks for the heads up on this.

I'll have to watch soon.

That was one of the groups on FB I left due to lots of ignorant posts. The only one I still follow is the Official group.
I'm happiest with Micarta and Tool Steel.

Top four in rotation: K390 + GCM PM2, ZCarta Shaman, Crucarta PM2, K390 + GCM Straight Spine Stretch.

Did I miss Eric’s mention of Vanax, or did he not mention it?

It was a passing comment towards the end when Eric was leaving the video meeting. Can be heard at 57:27 in the video - "Maybe next time we'll even talk about Vanax, we'll see."

I mean the Spydiechef is already massively popular with its LC200N, Vanax is simply the next level.

My QC Waypoint is insane, with Titanium scales, LC200N liners, and a Vanax blade, it's kind of a smaller gentleman's knife but boy is it indestructible. Made me love Vanax, and I'd love to see a spydie with some!

I'd rather get caught with it than without it...

The GITD was interesting. If it was a Salt with LC200N it would really be something!

I’m not a vanax proponent, but I think a kapara in vanax with fluted new style (native chief s90v CF) carbon fiber would be a great entrance for the steel...

I think it would for a lot of people. I seem to remember Surfingringo saying he would be interested in a glow in the dark Salt to try out. The Japanese GITD will glow all night on a minimal charge.

Glow in the dark Salts!
I instantly had a few ideas like GITD scales/liners in a Siren/Waterway, a Spydiechef, etc.
They could be rather useful, but I wonder how they’d look underwater?
Has anyone tried taking existing GTID Spydercos down into reduced or no light conditions?
I assume they’d look essentially the same as on the surface at night, but I’m also curious about murky water testing.
