Which fixed blade would you like to see in K390 first?

Seems there's been some interest in seeing Spyderco run one of their fixed blades in K390. Which model would you like to see first?

I voted for the Street Beat because its the fixed blade I find myself using the most from Spyderco.

I also think an Aqua Salt with a FFG would be interesting to see. Good general purpose size & shape, and pretty economical.

I have had the street beat in my cart several times, but hasn't happened. K390 would get a follow through from me.

I voted Bow River because I like the shape and footprint and it is among the thinnest of the above choices. I’ve got enough 4mm blade stock in fixed format. BR is 2.7mm

My only Spyderco fixed bladed is the Waterway, but even before I had it, it was the model I was probably the most interested in.
Well, it would also be my first choice for K390, so I voted "other". Perhaps with rough Micarta scales..

My second choice, and on the list, would be the Enuff XL, if it will be (as said) essentially a 4" blade Enuff with thinner (!) stock.

The Province is an amazing and very intriguing design, but I think the current 4V is better in that model than K390 would be.
Top three going by pocket-time (update March 24):
- EDC: Endura thin red line ffg combo edge (VG10); Wayne Goddard PE (4V), Endela SE (VG10)
-Mountains/outdoors: Pac.Salt 1 SE (H1), Salt 2 SE (LC200N), and also Wayne Goddard PE (4V)

Well I know what JD Spydo will vote for.

I voted for the Aqua Salt. The handle looks awesome and I would love to try it out.

Close 2nd would be a Street Beat. Considering Fred P. makes em out of 1075 it would be closer to the way he makes it (tough non-stainless).

Enuff XL would be intriguing, as long as it's a little thinner. The K390 is tough enough to work on a thinner-blade outdoors knife.

Temp2 (Moki so maybe not possible)

Bow River (China so maybe not possible)

Southfork (Taichung so very possible) Please grind it thin like the Sprig. Also, a Southfork in Maxamet is now seeming very possible. Whoa! Sticker shock would be very real however.

Jumpmaster2 Plain Edge FFG. (Seki made so very possible) This is almost a Seki made Temperance so maybe more possible than the Temp1. Also, H1 is a little pricey so the price jump might be reasonable.

Waterway.

Second choice would be the Enuf, and then the unreleased Enuf XL.

I picked Bow River since it's a fairly cheap knife, but would obviously go up some in price with K390. Depending on the price, I would probably give one a try though. I'm yet to own any kind of fixed blade, so I wouldn't want to pay a hefty price on something I may not carry often.

+1 for Temp2 & PE Jumpmaster

I voted "other". Something in the Street Beat family would be good, but designed for utility rather than self defense. More of an all around workhorse knife is my idea. Preferably made in USA, if possible. I'm sure Eric or Sal has a new design sitting around that would fit the bill!

An Aqua Salt in K390 is quite funny considering K390 is non stainless and it rusts :D
Same for Waterway mentioned in here.

K390 Bow River for the thinner blade, but that's China, so probably not...

Other: Southfork think didn't sell that well, too expensive and K390 would not make it cheaper, although a thin Southfork K390 would be nice, would cost a kidney in EU

How about this wharncliffe version of the Street Beat from Perrin?

I actually don't think the Waterway is a bad choice. It's got a great design for a general purpose knife, and the blade shape would pair with K390 well.

The designer posted in another thread about how he'd like to see a version done in a tool steel (and might have already had one built for him--I can't remember). There was a whole discussion about what to call a 'dry land' waterway.

Yeah, they're pretty close actually. The Perrin has a rounded and smooth micarta handle while the Ronin has a flatter handle with indexing points. I'd be interested in seeing either in K390, actually, because besides the handle ergonomics they are pretty similar knives.
